Privacy Policy

Overview
StillMine ("we", "us", or "our") is a privacy-first photo protection platform operated by ClawLabs Network LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using StillMine, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Photos never leave your browser
All photo processing — metadata reading, cleaning, watermarking, and fingerprinting — happens entirely in your browser on your device. Your original photos are never uploaded to our servers as part of cleaning or verification.
Information we collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. Claim data: When you register a claim, we store cryptographic fingerprints of your file — a SHA-256 hash and a perceptual hash — which are one-way mathematical digests. The photo itself cannot be reconstructed from them. Optional data: You may opt in to attaching a small 300px thumbnail to your public certificate and sealing the original metadata of your photo (which may include GPS coordinates and device information) inside your private claim record. Both are strictly optional and stored only when you explicitly enable them. Technical data: We automatically collect basic analytics such as page views, device type, and approximate region to improve our service.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve StillMine. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use the following categories: Essential cookies (required for the site to function), Analytics cookies (to understand usage and improve our tools), and Advertising cookies (to display relevant ads).
Google AdSense and third-party advertising
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. For more information about how Google uses data when you use our site, please review Google's Privacy & Terms at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Payments processed by Stripe
We use Stripe (https://stripe.com) to process all payments. Stripe may collect and process your payment card information, billing address, and transaction data directly — we never see or store your full card details. Your use of payment services is also governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy (https://stripe.com/privacy) and the Stripe Services Agreement (https://stripe.com/legal/ssa). When you make a purchase, your payment data is handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with their security and privacy standards.
What is public
Certificate pages publicly display your display name, the claim date and time, the file hashes, and the thumbnail if you chose to provide one. Do not attach a thumbnail if you do not want the image preview to be publicly visible.
Bitcoin anchoring is permanent
File hashes are anchored to the public Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps. Data written to the Bitcoin blockchain is permanent and cannot be removed by us or anyone else. Only the hash is anchored — never your photo or personal data.
Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Sealed metadata is encrypted at rest and visible only to you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Account deletion and your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. If you delete your account, your claims are removed from our registry, including thumbnails and sealed metadata. Hashes already anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain cannot be removed from it, but they are anonymous digests with no link back to you once your registry records are deleted. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@stillmine.app.
Children's privacy
StillMine is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
